| Day 6 (Thursday July 21, 2005) |
I will first start this letter off with a poem that I wrote for the Baptism of my loving
sister Brenda.
Baptism
Now you are united with Christ, he has given you new life. He will put you through things
that may seem extreme. But not once will he leave your side, because he has died. Now for his
immeasurable love, you cannot put anyone above. You will go through ups and downs. But you
know God can turn that all around. His will, will be done, with him you are one. Walking
beside God is a great thing just know that I am here to bring As much information that god
has placed in me. Now go out to the world with a new view, cause now God is in you.

Hello all!
Greetings from Mexico!!! Wow, this is weird, it’s our last morning here, everyone’s ready
to go, we’ve eaten breakfast (ummmm) and we’re hanging around for another hour or so waiting
to go. “Cuz were leavin’ on a jet plane (everyone!!!) DON’T KNOW WHEN ILL BE BACK AGAIN!”
…Ok, that’s enough of that. It’s bitter sweet. The time here has been amazing and blessed and
I think I can speak for everyone in that we’ve had an all around good time. Yet, we miss ya’ll.
Last night was amazing. Brenda was welcomed into the household of God by baptism. It was an
amazing, moving service. God was definitely present. We were all taken aback at the end of
the service when the bishop called us by name and gave us the cross of Cuernavaca. After
service, there was a fiesta and everyone took time to enjoy each other’s company. Well,
it’s time to go. This was the vanilla version of yesterday so be sure to ask us all about
it when we get back. Can’t wait to see you!!!
