| Day 3 (Monday July 18, 2005) |
Well....last night we had quite a storm! Mrs. Bobbie prayed for a cool breeze to come
through our rooms and it definitely did! In general, the meals have been spectacular! We
painted most of the morning, and accomplished a lot. We’re almost completely finished! We
painted some more in the afternoon, and at about 4:30 the local artisans came to sell their
goods. Just about everyone purchased something because the profits go directly to the artists,
instead of the middleman. Everyone is having a great time and it’s really amazing that everyone
has grown so close and only two days have passed! We all miss you every much, but it’s dinnertime
now! (no doubt, Theresa made another wonderful meal!)
