For the last four years, Rich Schluter and Tommy Yates have been providing our meals at W@C Night through their company, The Catering Connection. Through this wonderful ministry – provided to us at cost – we have been able to offer an inexpensive (no increase in cost to parishioners from 2003 to present!), wholesome cooked meals as the centerpiece of our fellowship and formation programs. In addition to raising $11,027.72* for the parish since they started, The Catering Connection has provided an important means for parishioners to connect with one another. Rich and Tommy’s business has grown significantly over the last few years, and they can no longer continue to provide the meals for W@C Night. Additionally, Rich would love the opportunity to go to classes on Wednesday nights himself! Please join us in expressing our gratitude to Rich and Tommy for their ministry of hospitality, which has blessed our parish family in so many ways. Thank you for the meals and the good times, guys!
*Purchases made possible by their ministry include the refrigerator for the Parish Hall, the freezer for the church kitchen, write-offs for the budget accounts, and, in the near future, a commercial ice machine.
