Our Philosophy
|   |
St. Dunstan’s Preschool & Mothers’ Day Out programs offer a variety of learning experiences that stimulate children’s imaginations, their natural ability to learn and help them explore and interact with the world around them.
Age appropriate activities develop and encourage a child’s sense of wonder, pleasure and well being. Learning Centers provide opportunities for creativity, choices and independence. The curriculum emphasizes socialization, oral language development and motor skills.
The Christ-centered preschool curriculum provides age-appropriate learning activities which focus on the following areas: cognitive skills, social interaction and behavior skills, the development of language, physical abilities, self-concept, creative expression, routine personal tasks and self/health/safety. Student schedules reflect a balance between structure and free choice and active and quiet times.
